Meet the doctor behind the practice
Dr. Thomas Martin
Born in Chicago and raised in Indiana, Dr. Thomas Martin’s journey into dentistry was inspired by the people closest to him, a family friend who coached him through his days as a competitive runner and his uncle, a dentist whose patient-first philosophy left a lasting impact. That blend of discipline and mentorship pointed him toward a career where science, problem-solving, and compassion come together every day.
Dr. Martin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Indiana University. He went on to receive his Master’s in Biology from IUPUI, before completing his dental education at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Today, he combines his love for science with hands-on care, helping patients rediscover their confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Martin regularly takes continuing education courses and stays up-to-date on the latest treatment methods and technologies. He particularly enjoys implant dentistry and cosmetic procedures like no-prep veneers, treatments that require both technical precision and artistic vision. For him, great results begin with meaningful conversations and a deep understanding of his patients’ goals.
Inside the office, Dr. Martin is known for his easy-going nature and clear communication. He doesn’t just direct care, he sees his role as an advisor, helping patients feel informed and empowered every step of the way. Whether it’s been six months or sixteen years since your last dental visit, you’ll be welcomed with kindness, not judgment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, daughter, and their four rescue pets. He’s an avid runner, a lover of science fiction, and a fan of complex video games that offer a challenge and fresh perspective. No matter the environment, Dr. Martin brings thoughtfulness, focus, and curiosity to everything he does.
